Rear Clamp Assemblies: Over the years our experience has been that custom thermoform tooling can run immaculately with only the rear clamp. However, we do give the option of an adjustable mold base with or without the front clamp. The advantage of running with only the rear clamp is that it makes for quicker setups when running various height molds, while still providing the same high quality product.

J&R Plastics has designed a rear clamp that accommodates virtually any height mold. Setups could not be easier, just insert the desired length posts, bolt to the mold base, plug in the air and you're ready to go. For taller molds we have added a height extension bar merely for post support. 

The advantage of J&R's design over other designs is part replacement. As we all know when setting up a run accidents may occur. Example: Overheating of the plastic. With other clamp assemblies, failure due to an overheated sheet can prove to be extremely costly. With J&R Plastics design simply replace a couple of posts and you're back up and running.
