Adjustable Pressure Boxes: J&R has taken their extensive custom thermoforming background, diagnosed the problem areas, and through experience and impeccable design created quite possibly the strongest, precisely engineered adjustable pressure box.

Our boxes are manufactured out of the toughest aluminums with ultimate strengths equivalent to steel. All fastener holes contain stainless steel helicoil inserts to ensure durability and longevity. The front panel is adjustable in 1" increments over "the customers" desired range of indexes. The v-groove channels accept the clamp-off bars, providing a tight grip on the material before forming. Other standard features include a gauge that measures forming pressure, a silicone "O" ring seal, and a pressure relief valve to guarantee safety during operation.

Competitors Problem: Since changing indexes are so frequent, over time their boxes tend to get damaged due to the socket head cap screws counter-boring themselves into the aluminum.

J&R Solution: We have implemented hardened steel protective mounting plates to ensure a tight assembly time after time without damaging the panels. Everyday usage should not be a reason for part replacement. We go the extra step to ensure your panels last a lifetime.

Competitors Problem: Plumbing; The common gun drilled holes can become the base plates ultimate weakness. The plumbing gets in the way and your employees tend to use them as handles, possibly resulting in a cracked plate.

J&R Solution: We have eliminated the gun drilled holes entirely and replaced them with direct ports on the backside of the plate in the area that overhangs the platen. This not only maximizes the strength of the plate, it also provides a much cleaner and spacious front work area.
